Active Sunderland BIG Walk
Choose from 3, 8 and 12 mile routes and enjoy the sights of the beautiful Herrington Country Park and Penshaw Monument as you spot wildlife, sculptures and more on our ever-popular BIG Walk.
This year's 3 mile walk will be led by a range of colourful characters provided by Make My Day Events. Little explorers will also take part in a nature scavenger hunt where they will discover wildlife and a natural landmarks.
All of our walkers can soak up the atmosphere by enjoying a pre-event sing along with our Rock Choir before getting involved in our FREE Active Sunderland family activities.

2022 entry prices
· 8 & 12 mile routes - £10 per person
· 3 mile route - £5 per person
· Under 2 year old's go free
